Ngozi Okonjo Iweala And Folorunsho Alakija Makes Forbes List Of Powerful Women In The World

Forbes has just released its list of the 100 Most Powerful Women in the World.

Nigeria’s Minister for Finance Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala is placed at 44, making her the most powerful woman in Nigeria.

Nigerian oil magnate Folorunsho Alakija was placed at  96.

German chancellor Angela Merkel took the Number one slot. Michelle Obama is number 8 while Queen Elizabeth at 35.

From Africa, Joyce Banda of Malawi is at 40, while Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf of Liberia is ranked 70.
